Stand with Cherie: A Call For Help After 3 Spinal Surgeries

My name is Cherie. I am a mother, a grandmother, and a hard worker that has overcome a lot of obstacles. I've started this fundraiser because I am at a loss and don't know what else to do.

On June 30th I had my third spinal surgery in a year and a half. They have to remove what was supposed to be permanent hardware, bone graft several areas of my spine, and shave some bones down because they are sticking out of my back.

Everything was going great for us until I was told I needed surgery or I'd be paralyzed. That was Feb 14, 2024. By Sept 11, 2024, I was back in the hospital for another surgery because I had several herniated discs compressing my spinal cord.

The last year and a half has been extremely hard since I've only been able to work for short periods of time.

I will be out of work for several weeks to months, and have absolutely no way of paying the bills or getting groceries during that time.

I don't like asking for help; it's not in me to do so. I've always worked and supported my son, dogs, and myself. However, at this point, I have no choice but to put my story out there and see what happens. Anything will help, no matter how small. I just need to make it through this trying period of my life.
