Stand with Chase— A great man in Critical Condition

Hi, my name is Maygan, and I’m reaching out on behalf of our dear brave friend Chase and his family.

Last week, Chase was admitted to UAMS with a severe case of pneumonia. What seemed like a difficult respiratory illness quickly became life-threatening. Doctors discovered that Chase was developing dangerous levels of fluid around his heart, leading to a serious arrhythmia. A surgery was scheduled to correct the issue, but when anesthesia was administered, Chase went into cardiac arrest and coded.

By the grace of God, the doctors were able to resuscitate him.

Though he was briefly released, Chase was rushed back to the hospital due to rapid fluid buildup around his heart. He is now on oxygen 24/7, and his condition remains extremely fragile. Doctors are currently discussing the possibility of a heart transplant.

As if that wasn’t enough, the family’s only vehicle recently broke down. Every trip to the hospital now requires a costly Uber ride, which adds up quickly—especially during such a stressful and uncertain time.

Chase is fighting for his life, and his family is doing everything they can to support him through this battle. However, the emotional and financial toll is becoming overwhelming. Between hospital stays, travel, missed work, and ongoing care, the costs are adding up quickly.
