Stand with Charlotte Hale in Her Health Battle

Many people know my amazing mom, Charlotte Hale. She was a nurse at Cumberland Adult Medicine in McMinnville. She has always been the one to help others when they need it or if they are struggling. Recently, she was diagnosed with MS and Myasthenia Gravis. She was hospitalized 2 weeks ago and is home now but unfortunately, she has had to stop working so there is no money coming in to pay for personal and medical bills. My grandmother has also moved back to Tennessee to take care of my mother full time since she can no longer be on her own. She has to use a wheelchair and walker to get around. We have an amazing family that is trying to make her house handicap accessible. We are trying our best to help with the burden but we also have our own finances and can only give so much at this time, until she can get approved for financial assistance and Medicaid. If you can help out, we would be eternally grateful but if you can’t, please just keep us in your thoughts and prayers, because this diagnosis is a downhill spiral from here!

Text from mom, “I am still in a Myasthenia Gravis crisis and my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis is pending more diagnostic imaging and labs but the hospitals neurologist and my PCP are quite certain. I start chemo today sitting in the chair now. I was laid off from work because I cannot perform my duties and they “thought it would help me qualify for more benefits”. I have to be out of work for 1 - 2 months before I can even apply for most. Mom flew down as my nurse/caretaker. But I have no income until I can get unemployment coming in. My copays are $90 every time I come and it’s gonna be weekly, I haven’t been able to pick up my medicines because I can’t afford them, mom bought groceries and paid the remainder of the water but other things have been cut off like car insurance, and TV but they can wait. Not asking y'all at all for money. I’m really struggling mentally, financially, spiritually I’m trying to get closer to God and find my new purpose really feels like my purpose is done sometimes but I know God isn’t through with me. My question to you guys is (I know you have a trip coming up and timing is not great) could you guys help me set up or set me up a GoFundMe, all these medical bills, copays and regular bills are overwhelming and I have no income, I thought I’d have 1 last check today but they said today that I won’t. I don’t know what else to do and mom said give it to God but I’ve applied to the cancer society, and all the resources here it all just takes time. I don’t know what else to do or where else to turn. My mom is trying to help but she has quit working and come here to help me for free (which is what moms do) but I know she can’t do much.”
