My name is Rachael Myers, and for years, the Wade family have been more than just friends to us—they’ve become part of our family. Recently, their son Chance Wade was diagnosed with leukemia. B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, also known as ALL. This news has shaken all of us, but we know and trust that Chance will overcome this battle and emerge completely healed.

In the meantime, Chance is inpatient receiving chemo treatments and dealing with the unfortunate side effects that go along with chemo. We all know how expensive medical treatments and hospital stays are. Donna and Jesse need to stay focused on Chance and not worried about medical bills. Donna is taking a leave of absence from her job to be able to take care of Chance. Your donations will go directly to the Wade family to cover medical costs, travel, and the everyday expenses that keep their family steady while they navigate this journey.

Chance graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 2024, and we always say, once a Warrior, always a Warrior! Chance is definitely a Warrior! He just wrapped up his first year of college where he is studying business and computer management. If you know Chance, you know he is strong, determined and will kick cancer in the teeth!
