Stand with Chad: Support His Recovery and Livelihood
Donation protected
Hi everyone! I’m Chad Mothersell of Chad’s Farrier Service. I’ve been a farrier for 14yrs. Recently I burned my hand quite badly and it’s requiring me to have surgery and a skin graft. Most know my work as a farrier is very hands on and quite rigorous at that. My surgery is set for June 26, 2024 and the estimated recovery is 4-6wks depending on how things go. Being self employed, if I don’t work, I don’t get paid. This has come at an extremely difficult time as I had already missed some days of work with my truck out of service. And to throw a cherry on top our main power line to the house quit 3 days ago and we have that massive repair being done on Thursday which will cost in excess of $5000. Fortunately we do have a generator that is keeping at least the important things running for now. I don’t typically ask for any help but the bills are adding up and the monthly bills are piling in at a head spinning rate. Honestly being out of work couldn’t have come at a worse time. Hopefully this recovery goes smooth and I am back to work even sooner. I know we all have tough times and with the support from our family, friends, and community getting through them is possible. Any help you can afford to give is immensely appreciated.
