Hello Everyone. My name is Wendy Taylor and I am creating a Go Fund Me account for a very close friend Chad LaTurno "Onion" was diagnosed with Metastatic Malignant Melanoma this past April. Chad currently works a full time job and also is a Senior Firefighter at Locke Township Fire Dept, and Chad is a Captain at the Rowan County Rescue Squad. He was a paramedic with Cabarrus County for 7 years, and with Rowan County for 5.

Chad "Onion" has been receiving infusions as treatment for his Melanoma. This has caused Chad to feel very sick with him missing work. Chad's wife Ashlyn has also missed work by being there for her husband. Everyone who knows Chad knows him by Onion. He has been a community servant for many years and has given his life to helping others who are in need. Now he is facing a struggle and needs our support. It is very difficult when you are fighting cancer and having to struggle with how your going to pay bills. This should be the last thing on your mind.
