Hello All!

Thank you for taking time out of your day to read Celeste and Kalob's story.

On Thursday, May 16th, my dear friends brought a brand new baby girl into the world. Her name is Kaia, she was a healthy 7lbs 2oz's born in the morning. Kalob and Celeste went home a couple days later to start their new journey as mom and dad. Things were well, they were getting used to changing diapers and the new ear-piercing cries in the middle of the night. Fast forward a few days- Mama Celeste celebrated her 33rd birthday on Thursday the 23rd of May with her new roommate.

Now let's fast forward to Friday May 24th in the afternoon. Celeste was complaining about an uncomfortable pain in her mid-section and expressed to Kalob concerns, they called the doctor and Celeste was instructed to take some over-the-counter meds along with her post C-section medication. As the night progressed they thought Celeste was having an allergic reaction to her medicine so they called an ambulance to rush her to the emergency room where they were hit with a sudden turn for the worst... Celeste ended up suffering a severe stroke while arriving at the hospital. Doctors had called for a flight for life helicopter ride from Parker Hospital to Littleton Hospital where Celeste would ultimately have surgery and some removal of her skull to reduce the swelling. Celeste has had multiple surgeries to date, and is currently being admitted to a Rehabilitation facility for not only Physical Therapy, but Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.

I am creating this on behalf of Celeste and Kalob looking for 1. to know their story, and 2. If you are in a position to help them financially. I myself have a daughter and could only imagine the mental, and emotional stress the family is feeling... I was in hopes of helping them with this GoFundMe to reduce the financial burden associated with this tragic event.

The funds would be used for medical bills, any sort of accessibility needs around their house moving forward, and for missed time from work for the new parents.

We all, from the bottom of our hearts, appreciate you reading their story and will provide updates as Celeste progresses with her road to recovery.

Thank you.
