Support Cecillia's Battle Against B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

With a heavy heart but a hopeful spirit, I am sharing the story of a sweet, hard-working, loyal, and compassionate girl named Cecillia. Recently, Cecillia received news that she was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). This unexpected life-changing experience has brought challenges to not only Cecillia but her family as well. They are faced with an uphill battle to overcome these very emotional, physical, and even financial burdens ahead. Cecillia is 19 years old and a proud Razorback at the University of Arkansas Sam Walton College of Business. She is the type of girl who loves spending time with her family and friends. And when you need someone to talk to or even have someone listen, she is always there. As her mother says, "She is a sweet, beautiful, kind, and a very personable girl. Whose life just got changed in the blink of an eye." But we believe with the right care and support she will be able to overcome this very scary and challenging situation.

How You Can Help

Cecillia is currently undergoing some medical procedures and will be starting chemotherapy in the near future, right now they are trying to keep her stable and comfortable. As Cecillia and her family are focusing on starting her treatment and her recovery process, they are faced with some significant medical, living, and travel expenses. Every dollar that will be raised will go towards the family directly to help them assist with any necessary expenses to ensure that Cecillia will receive the best care possible. With your support not only will it help cover the cost, but it will also put less stress on her family, which would allow them to focus their energy on her. Your kindness can help bring joy and shine brightness through this very emotional, and difficult time, to help remind Cecillia and her family that they have love and support no matter what.
