For over 30 years, Cathy has dedicated her life to caring for others—as a nurse, a mother, a Meme, and a dear friend. She’s been the calming presence in moments of fear, the steady hands in times of crisis, and the warm heart that brought countless families peace and healing.

Recently diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, Cathy has had to step away from the career she loves. As her illness progresses, she faces not only serious health challenges but also the loss of income and stability. Securing Medicaid and disability has proven incredibly difficult, though her daughter is actively working on it.
