Update: I am now at a stage three melanoma meaning the cancer has spread to my lymph nodes. They removed three of my lymph nodes when I had the surgery and I also have something called a braf gene mutation which can unfortunately speed up the spread of my cancer. I’ve been advised to file for social security disability, we all know how long that can take, I am unable to work, I can’t provide for my babies, and things are so hard right now. I lost my car and everything else and can’t manage to pay a single bill at this time. This has been a very very scary and trying journey. The doctors are discussing treatment options which is even more scary. This is gonna have me down and not working for a very long time, I have no parents or grandparents to turn too so I’m turning to you, please if you can find it in your heart to help us, even the smallest donation and prayers help, we would be forever grateful. I’ve prayed my little heart out for healing and guidance through these hard times and I know that Jesus is by my side through this. Thank you for taking the time to hear my story.

Boy, this is a hard thing to do, publicly asking for your help. Please keep in mind my only reason for doing this is having cancer with no living family to help support in any way financially is so hard. But I guess I should start by introducing myself. My name is Casey Connell, I have two children, whom my life revolves around. I have recently been diagnosed with stage two melanoma. It’s been a very scary experience; you hear about cancer all the time until it hits home, hits you. But it’s been difficult. I’m unable to work. I lost my brand new car. I had surgery where they cut into my leg and remove what they can amd then into my groin and pulled three lymph nodes to test to see if it’s hit that area or not and we are praying it hasnt. But that’s also putting me where I can’t work for the next 6-8 weeks. Which means I have zero source of income to care for my kids and bills and all the things we all need to have day by day. So someone advised me to try a GoFundMe page. So here I am, guys, asking for what help you may can lend. It would truly be a blessing to receive any help at all. food, household items, gas to get back and forth to appointments in Atlanta. My youngest bday is coming up soon now in September. I know that god is going to take care of me and my family but I need help and idk what else to do.
