Support Casey Branco in His Fight Against Cancer

Hi, my name is April Johnson, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend and neighbor, Casey Branco.

Casey has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and while the news has shaken our community, it’s also reminded us of the incredible person Casey is—and how deeply he’s touched our lives.

He’s the kind of neighbor who’d carry in your groceries after a long day. The kind who made sure there was always a place for you at his Friday night driveway BBQs, where laughter, love, and community came together.

Casey is also a fighter. After losing his beloved husband, Jared, he found a way to embrace life again—honoring Jared’s memory while holding fast to the beauty that life still has to offer. That same strength is shining through now, as he faces this new battle with courage and grace.

And more than that—Casey is a fierce protector of his community. A proud, joyful face of PRIDE and a beacon of freedom and fun. When you saw Casey standing outside MYBAR, you knew it was going to be a night to remember—where being fully yourself was not only welcomed, it was celebrated.
