Life has taken an unexpected and devastating turn for my ex-wife, Carolenna. Just a month ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. At first, the hope was that it was localized and treatable. But everything changed last week when doctors confirmed the cancer has metastasized — spreading to her spine, sacrum, and left humerus.
This news was heartbreaking. Even more so when we learned that chemotherapy is no longer an option for her. The cancer’s progression has limited conventional treatments, but Carolenna is not giving up. She is turning to alternative therapies and off-label medications that give her a fighting chance — not just for herself, but for more time with her children and family.
This isn’t just about treatment — it’s about dignity, comfort, and time. Time to make memories. Time to prepare. Time to be with the people she loves without the crushing weight of financial stress.
If you’re in a position to help — whether it’s $10 or simply sharing this — it would mean the world. Every dollar will go toward:
• Medical expenses and therapies not covered by insurance
• Transportation to and from appointments
• Basic living expenses while she focuses on her health
• Anything that can make this difficult road a little more manageable
Carolenna has always been strong, independent, and full of life. She’s now facing the unthinkable with courage — but she shouldn’t have to do it alone.
Thank you for standing with her.
With gratitude,
Tyler Bushman
