Stand with Carly Walker in Her Healing Journey

I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support during a challenging time for someone very dear to me, Carly Walker. Recently, she underwent abdominal surgery due to health complications. Unfortunately, during this ordeal, her and Steven also experienced the heartbreaking loss of a much-anticipated pregnancy. Things have taken a turn for the worst, resulting in her to be vented in the ICU. She arrived via life flight to the Tulsa hospital around 8:30 last night and after they stabilized her, they did another CT scan which came back clear, so no more surgery for now! However, she is septic, and they’re running multiple blood cultures to determine the right antibiotics. Her lungs keep filling with fluid, and her blood pressure is dropping, but they’re having trouble getting an accurate read due to swelling, so they’ve inserted a blood pressure monitor in her arterial artery.

This unexpected turn of events has brought immense physical and emotional strain on both of them and their family. As they navigate the road to recovery, the financial burden of medical bills, ongoing treatment, and necessary support weighs heavily on their shoulders.
