Hello, my name is Renee and I'm trying to raise funds to help retain additional counsel for litigation for deportation for my husband, who was illegally detained by ICE. On Monday, October 27, 2025, as he was driving to work, he was stopped off of 50 and Clermont and arrested by Border Control. Carlos was able to provide documentation that he is legal here to work, yet ICE still detained him without due cause. As of now, nearly a week later, he has yet to be informed as to why they are holding him when he has a VISA that says he may work in the United States, as well as a valid Florida license. ICE is trying to place two holds on him without telling him what they are for, and the years on them were from when he was a child who hadn't even been to America at that point in time.

I'm asking for any sort of help, whether it be a few dollars you can spare, and if you can't donate any money, if you could please share this so it can reach as many people as possible. If this was the other way around, I know Carlos would be helping.
