Hi, my name is Dr. Marina Pulini-Franks, and I’m starting this GoFundMe to support my dear friend and colleague Cara and her family.
Tragedy struck when the home she resides in with her significant other/partner, Diannah Oxenrider, burned to the ground, leaving their family with nothing. In this devastating fire, Cara also lost her beloved four cats, who were cherished members of her family.
Cara is an extraordinary woman who has dedicated her life to caring for her children and those of her partner, Diannah. Despite working full-time, she pours her heart into being a loving, supportive, and critical figure in her family’s life. She is the epitome of selflessness, always willing to help those in need, whether in her personal or professional life.
Cara has faced more than her share of heartbreak. Having already lost her parents, she has no immediate family to lean on during this incredibly challenging time.
Now, it’s our turn to give back to this incredible woman who has done so much for others. While Diannah has homeowners insurance, recovery from a house fire comes with many immediate and unexpected costs that insurance can’t fully address or will take time to cover. Cara and Diannah have limited funds to spend on immediate need for their children and themselves. We are raising $10,000 to help Cara and her family rebuild their lives.
