"Obstacles tend to rise within our toughest moments in life, sometimes simply to strengthen our faith"
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Life has a way of testing us, and my sister and nephew, Cailan, are facing one of their toughest challenges. On May 12th, my beloved 15-year-old nephew was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia. This devastating news came after a sudden and severe flare-up of his lymph nodes on May 11th.
The medical team acted swiftly, and they are confident in a 100% recovery rate. However, the journey ahead is long and demanding. My sister has been a pillar of strength, attending every appointment and treatment while managing her full-time job. But the weight of this responsibility is immense, and I fear it will soon become overwhelming.
To alleviate some of this burden, I am launching a fundraiser to support them during this critical time. My sister has already made significant sacrifices—she has given up her apartment to reduce costs and stay close to her son, and she will soon have to leave her job to relocate. Over the next two years, she will need to drive him to numerous medical appointments and treatments, all while managing the daily challenges of life.
I am asking for your support to help cover medical expenses, travel costs, and essential living expenses. Although they are currently in accommodation provided by medical services, this will change once he is released to go home, leading to a significant financial strain.
No parent should have to worry about financial pressures while caring for their child. Let’s come together to provide the support they need during this incredibly difficult time. Any assistance, whether it’s a donation or a prayer, will be deeply appreciated and will make a tremendous difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your kindness and generosity. Let’s unite to show them they are not alone and that we stand with them in their fight.
With sincere gratitude.
