As many of you all may know, I have a best friend named Brooke. Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago she was in a severe motor vehicle accident. Brooke broke her hand and pelvis, had a concussion, and required an airlift and overnight hospitalization for 3 nights. Brooke was a travel nurse for 1 year, and became a staff RN afterwards at the same hospital. Unfortunately, her only being a month away from hitting her 1 year mark as a staff RN means that she is not eligible for FMLA. Meaning, she will not be compensated for being out of work. As a mother baby nurse, Brooke has no option but to stay home and heal and is not allowed to go back to work. I started this go fund me because Brooke is the last person to ever ask anyone for help, however, she would help anyone she possibly could. Brooke has the kindest heart, and friends and family of hers are absolutely devastated that this has happened to her. Please consider helping, as anything will at this point.
