Stand with Brianna: Overcome Medical Crisis

Hi everyone,

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I’m reaching out during a really hard time.

On Saturday, May 17th, I was attacked and bitten by a client at work. The very next day, I ended up in the hospital with a staph infection and pneumonia. Since then, I’ve been admitted to the ICU and am still undergoing treatment and recovery. It’s been a scary, overwhelming experience, and I’m doing everything I can to heal and stay strong.

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to return to work since the incident, and I don’t yet know when I’ll be released from the hospital or cleared to go back. As June 1st approaches, I’m extremely worried about how I’ll be able to cover my rent while I’m still in recovery.

As someone who values independence, it’s very hard for me to ask for help — but right now, I truly need it. I’m able to manage my smaller bills for now, but rent is something I simply can’t afford without support during this time.
