Hello, my name is Brenda Cano (Brendy). I am 57 years old and I live in Miami, Florida.
Today, I come to you with humility and hope, after taking a long time to decide to share my story. It is not easy to open my heart to the world in the middle of such a painful situation, but I still deeply believe in kindness, empathy and love among human beings.In June 2025, I went to the emergency room at Baptist Hospital due to severe abdominal pain. After multiple tests, a biopsy, and several days of hospitalization, I received a diagnosis that completely changed my life: stage 3 gallbladder adenocarcinoma, an aggressive and advanced cancer. From that moment on, my life and my family's life changed drastically. I have had to face multiple medical procedures,
including the placement of a chemotherapy port, as well as intravenous
chemotherapy treatments, radiation therapy, medical consultations,hospitalizations, and constant testing.
The physical, emotional, and financial impact has been overwhelming. Since my diagnosis, I have been unable to work, and the costs of medical care, transportation, food, and basic needs have increased significantly.
For this reason, I have created this fundraiser. The funds will be used to cover medical expenses, chemotherapy and radiation treatments, medications, transportation, housing, and my daily living expenses during this recovery process.
Any contribution, no matter how small, means so much to me. Every donation represents hope, relief, and the opportunity to keep fighting for my life.

(Brendy). Tengo 57 años y resido en Miami, Florida.
Hoy me dirijo a ustedes con mucha humildad y esperanza, después de haber tomado mucho tiempo para decidir compartir mi historia.Nunca pensé que me encontraría en la situación de tener que pedir ayuda de esta manera. No es fácil abrir el corazón al mundo en medio de una situación tan dolorosa, pero todavía creo profundamente en la bondad, la empatia y el amor entre los seres humanos.
En junio de 2025, acudí a la sala de emergencias del Baptist Hospital debido a un fuerte dolor abdominal. Después de varios estudios, biopsia y días de hospitalización,
recibí un diagnóstico
que cambió mi vida por completo:
neocarcinoma de
vesícula en estado 3, un cáncer agresivo у avanzado.Desde ese momento, mi vida y la de mi familia cambió
radicalmente. He tenido que enfrentar múltiples procedimientos médicos, incluyendo la colocación de un port para quimioterapia, así como tratamientos de quimioterapia intravenosa , radioterapia, consultas médicas, hospitalizaciones у estudios constantes.
El impacto físico, emocional y económico ha sido muy fuerte.
Desde mi diagnóstico he
tenido que dejar de trabajar, y los gastos médicos de transporte, alimentación y necesidades básicas han aumentado significativamente.
Por esta razón, he creado esta recaudación de fondos . Los fondos serán utilizados para cubrir gastos médicos,tratamientos de quimioterapia y radioterapia, medicamentos, transporte, vivienda у mi sustento diario durante este proceso de recuperación.
Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, significa muchísimo para mí.
