STAND WITH BRAYDEN: Overcoming Spinal Cord Injury
Donation protected
On Wednesday, June 11th, Brayden Yoes was seriously injured in a motocross accident in Albany, Oregon. He suffered a burst fracture in his T12 vertebrae, underwent major spinal surgery, and is now facing the challenges of life with a spinal cord injury. At this time, Brayden does not have movement or feeling below his waist.
Brayden recently completed his sophomore year at Montana State. He is known for his determination, positivity, and quiet strength. True to form, Brayden is already pushing himself every day, holding himself up in bed, working through physical therapy, and staying mentally focused in the face of uncertainty.
Brayden has been accepted to Craig Hospital in Colorado, one of the nation’s top spinal cord rehabilitation centers. This next step is critical to giving him the best shot at recovery, independence, and hopefully, walking again.
The Yoes family has faced more than their share of challenges these last few years, including Ryan’s successful battle with pancreatic cancer. Today, the Yoes need their community's support once again. The costs ahead are significant: medical expenses, travel, rehabilitation, loss of income and the adjustments needed to make daily life accessible for Brayden.
Every donation, prayer, and message of encouragement makes a difference. Thank you for standing with Brayden and Team Yoes.
