Stand with Brad: From Accident to Recovery

Brad had left from Darbun Mississippi April 20 Saturday evening, pulling a loaded trailer with parts, equipment and some atvs for his older brother Laverne, Brad had drove down with his truck and trailer to help Laverne move stuff to Idaho. Sunday morning Brad was driving through Kearney Nebraska, he was in a construction zone in which the road had narrowed to one lane, it was morning and the way the sun reflected off the vehicles ahead he didn't notice a loaded semi at a near standstill ahead, spotting the stopped truck with only 200 ft between him and the trucker, it was impossible for him to stop. He rear ended the truck going approximately 50 mph, he immediately wedged himself out the drivers door with less than a foot to get the door open... He was taken by ambulance to CHI He broke his left leg femur and right leg had compartment muscle syndrome, and was within hrs of losing his right leg.. Praise the Lord after some surgeries he is stable but will take a bit of time to fully recover... His truck is a total loss as well as the trailer and everything on the trailer. He had just got done fixing the truck and he uses it a lot for work. We, some of his friends, feel terrible for him losing it all helping someone else. Insurance will cover some but not near all the parts, work, and time it took to get it on the road, and we would like to help him as much as we can with money lost in his truck and time off of work as well as any bills!
