Stand with Brad: Aid for Medical and Family Needs

Hi everyone, thank you so very much for checking out our page for our dear friend Brad.

We are Dave and Tori Schoonover, Brad and Laura are two of our best friends. As most of you know, Brad has recently suffered an anoxic brain injury after he stopped breathing while in anaphylactic shock. Currently, Brad is in CVICU at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, New York. We are waiting for him to be completely stable before he can be transferred to a neurological rehabilitation facility where he will have a long and hard road ahead of him. Brad will be working with a team of cardiologists, neurologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.

Brad has been a police officer for BPD for over 20 years. He has been an advocate for others, a helping hand to all, and he wears his heart on his sleeve. He is there in a moment's notice if you need him and he has put his life on the line for you and yours every single day without hesitation.

It is now time we as a community show up for Brad, Laura, and their kids, Kiley, Brayden, and Klaira.

All funds raised will go directly towards Brad's medical bills, Laura's travel, and anything his kids may need in the absence of his presence.
