Hello, my name is Shelly and unfortunately, I'm in desperate need of some real financial help. This method was not how I wanted to pursue this crisis, but to my realization over the last 3 weeks, it's the only way to navigate this tragedy in our current state of financial being and be there for our daughter. Without the financial resources, everything has been impossible, and she's been all alone. That alone hurts my heart as her mother, so here I am doing what needs to be done so I can be there for her. If she recovers, she will have what she needs to get back on her feet from medication to specialty equipment and if not, we will be able to lay her to rest after the fight of her life.

The ladder unfathomable, though It's been difficult not being able to be by her side throughout this tragedy. Three weeks ago, our daughter, 32, suddenly fell critically ill. Visiting the ER, she was evaluated, transferred, and eventually intubated. Soon after, she was diagnosed with RHF & PAH, and also a PFO, a hole in the chambers of the heart. After 8 days in a local ICU, she was life-flighted to USC LA, a specialty hospital that deals with complex cases. As of today, 23 days later, she is not off the vent recently requiring the placement of a trach. Requiring more time to come back, she is still not out of the woods, and the thought of her being alone is heartbreaking. This is a rough road either way it goes for her, and to be honest, I'm not sure how much she's got left. Seriously feels like torture when only time will tell. I thank everyone in advance; you're greatly appreciated in our time of need.

Funds raised will go towards family travel expenses in the short term and anything pertaining to whatever else is required for Bonnie's hopeful recovery.
