Support Baby Bodie Matthew and His Family

Dear Family, Friends, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

On January 24, 2025, Bodie Matthew, came into this world earlier than expected via an emergency C-section. His arrival was filled with complications, and he is now bravely fighting hard in the NICU at Children’s Hospital.

Bodie has already faced more challenges in his first days than most of us do in a lifetime. He is currently in a cooling bed to prevent swelling in his brain, has undergone a blood transfusion to help regulate his body, and is covered in wires that monitor every change and movement. The next few days will involve multiple MRIs and continued monitoring to assess his condition.

His parents, Buddie and Alexandra, are navigating this heartbreaking and uncertain time with strength and love, but they need our support. Alexandra, who underwent the emergency C-section, has also been transferred to a hospital near Bodie so she can stay close to him while recovering herself.

Bodie’s siblings, Jackson and Calli Rae, are staying with family as we all pray for this little warrior to overcome these challenges.
