Our dear friend Blake has been battling cancer and recently underwent major surgery on his hamstring, which has left him unable to work. Just as he was preparing to return to his job, his doctor informed him that if he wishes to live beyond the next 12 years, it is crucial that he follows an aggressive chemotherapy plan they have outlined for him—the most intensive regimen they offer. Blake is scheduled to receive six rounds of chemotherapy in 21-day cycles. Due to the aggressive nature of this treatment, he will need to be admitted to the hospital for inpatient care during the first four days of each cycle.
