Stand with Berto: Fight Cancer Together

I wanted to create this page to prayerfully ease the financial and emotional stress/burdens Berto is going to now face through the fight of his life. Please help me help our friend.

Our favorite fit and funny guy was just recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer with liver metastasis, which means that the cancer has spread from the colon/rectum to the liver, and it is considered a metastatic disease. He has a long road to fight with many treatment options his team is currently planning.

His cancer fight is starting this Friday with a procedure to receive a mediport, also known as a port or port-a-cath, which is a small, implanted medical device used for delivering his chemotherapy and other medications, drawing blood, and administering fluids through a vein in his chest. He is understandably nervous but also anxious to get this fight started so he can live for his two sweet boys.

Berto reluctantly had to stop working due to his dramatic health decline and constant medical appointments, which has subsequently left him with no health insurance, causing him to pay for everything himself. Anyone who knows Berto would agree he is the first one to help anybody needing a hand and is the last one to ask for help himself. Please help me with helping him. Even if you cannot donate anything financially, please pray for our dear friend while he goes through this difficult journey. We will post updates as they come.
