Stand with Baylie's Family: Health & Hope

Hi, I'm Baylie Tims. I have started this GoFundMe as a way to help my parents be able to keep up with their day-to-day lives without any kind of stressor.

For context, over a decade ago, my mother was diagnosed with Vanishing Bile Duct Syndrome, or VBDS for short. Ever since this diagnosis, she has been on a transplant list and has been told for years it has not reached a point where it would be necessary for a transplant. Along with this disease, she has essentially no immune system, which has led her to be in and out of hospitals for years now. After 2021, she has been downhill.

As of October 20th, 2024, she has been between multiple hospitals and is still unsure of when or if she will be able to come home. She is in late-stage kidney failure and requires constant dialysis to even keep her alive. Not only has this been a large impact on her, but at home, my father has been having to juggle a 13-year-old with autism and Oppositional Defiance Disorder, or ODD for short.

My father has started to drown in bills with no additional help from his job. This has led to a great deal of stress from not only his wife and my mother being stuck between hospitals, but having to try and afford the cost of living.

I am hoping with this GoFundMe I can try and lift some stress off my parents as they have done so much for me. I want to be able to relieve some stress and to simply say thank you for everything they have done for me. Thank you for taking the time to read all of this. All funds will be completely handed over to my parents. This way they can do as they please with the funds provided.

Update: Thank you all for your donations. As of February 13th, 2025 my momma has passed away. We are now needing support for funeral costs.
