Stand with Banks and His Family

Banks passed away on Tuesday, February 4th. Our hearts our broken. Conner and Ciana have a big deductible to meet, hospitals bills are starting to come in and now expenses burying their son. Banks has made a huge impact to all of our lives. A memorial Mass will be planned for Banks when the family is ready.

My first grandson, Banks Wilder Bovet Varner, entered this world on Wednesday, January 29th at 4:08 pm, the day before his official due date, and was born in Monroe, Michigan, weighing 6 lbs. 12 oz. The cord was wrapped around Banks' neck and abdomen and created internal damage. He lacked oxygen for a time and had to be intubated. He has many internal issues, including the heart, lungs, kidneys, etc. He was airlifted to Toledo Hospital, which is a level 3 facility, and once he arrived and was assessed, they determined that he needed a level 4 hospital and then was flown to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Banks arrived at U of M on January 30th. The days and nights have been a blur for the parents. He is on two ventilators and they are in hopes of weaning him off one so we can get an MRI done to see if Banks has any brain damage.

This has been so overwhelming for Ciana and Conner as first-time parents. They have medical deductibles to reach, mortgage payments to pay and Conner, being the sole provider of the family, could truly use some security that everything will be okay. Conner purchased a new home for his family in October in Monroe, MI.

Conner and Ciana are fighting for their son minute by minute, hour by hour and day by day. Please help them be at peace knowing their bills are paid up to date.
