Stand with Baisa's Family in Their Grief

Our brother, Mr. Baisa, was a man of God who was deeply loved by his family and church community. He faced the challenge of kidney failure since January 2018, enduring frequent hospital visits and undergoing dialysis treatment three times a week. Throughout the past six years, his wife, Birtukan and their two children, stood faithfully by his side, providing him with dedicated care and support. Despite his health struggles, brother Baisa’s unwavering faith shone through as he consistently shared his love for Christ with others, prayers and praising the Lord in the congregation.

While grappling with the difficulties of his illness, brother Baisa never dwelled on his own suffering, instead choosing to glorify God and express gratitude for the blessings he received, such as witnessing his children's high school graduations. His wife, Birtukan, stood steadfastly beside him, attending to his needs and managing the household, often needing to take time off work to accompany him during hospital visits. Sadly, following a recent hospitalization, brother Baisa’s health took a sharp turn, leading to a cardiac arrest and subsequent complications that ultimately resulted in his passing on Wednesday May 29th, 2024.

Although his departure has left a profound void in the lives of his family and the church community, we find peace in the belief that he has found eternal peace, free from pain and suffering, in the presence of the Lord. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the church community for their enduring support over the past six years, both emotionally and financially, as they stood with Baisa's family through their trials. As we come together once more, we kindly ask for assistance in helping the family navigate the unexpected expenses arising from his passing. May God bless all those who have generously supported and continue to stand by this grieving family during this difficult time.

ወንድማችን አቶ ባይሳ በቤተሰቡ እና በቤተክርስትያን ህብረተሰብ እጅግ የተወደደ የእግዚአብሄር ሰው ነበር። በጥር ወር 2018 በኩላሊት በሽታ ከተያዘበት ግዜ ጀምሮ ብዙ ጊዜውን በሆስፒታል ለህክምና እና የኩላሊት እጥበት እንዲደረግለት ሲመላለስ ቆይቷል። በነዚህ ስድስት አመታት ውስጥ ባለቤቱ ብርቱካን እና ሁለት ልጆቹ ከአጠገቡ ሳይለዩ በብዙ ትጋት አስታምውታል። የጤና እክል ሳያግደው ወንድም ባይሳ ለክርስቶስ ያለውን ፍቅር ለሌሎች በማካፈል እና በጸሎት እግዚያብሄርን ሁሌም ያመሰግን ነበር ።

በህመሙ ብዛት ቢሰቃይም ወንድም ባይሳ ስለበሽታው ሲያወራ ወይም ሲያማርር አያታም ይልቁን እግዚያብሄርን ሲያከብር እድሜ ስለተቀጠለለትና የልጆቹን የሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ምርቃት ለማየት በመብቃቱ እጅግ ያመሰግን ነበር። ባለቤቱ ብርቱካን እርሱን በማስታመምና የቤተሰብ ሃላፊነትን ለመወጣት ቀን ማታ ስትድክም እና ከርሱ ጋር በየቀጠሮውና ሆስፒታሉ ትመላልስ ቆይታለች። እሱን ለመርዳት ከስራዋ የምትቀርበት ግዜም ብዙ ነበር። ባለፈው ወር ብዙውን ግዜ በሆስፒታል ሲርዳ ቆይቶ ከወትሮ በበለጠ ህመሙ ጸንቶበት የልብ ምቱ በድንገት ቢያቆምም እንደገና እንዲመለስ የተደረገው ጥረት ሳይሳካ ወደ ሚወደው ጌታ እሮብ እለት ግንቦት 29 2024 ወደ አምላኩ ተሰብስቧል።

የወንድማችን ከኛ መለየት ጥልቅ ሀዘንና ባዶነትን ቢተውብንም ነገር ግን ህመምና ስቃይ በሌለበት በዘላለም እርፍት ውስጥ መሆኑን ስናስብ ልባችን ይጽናናል። ባለፉት ስድስት አመታት ከቤተሰቡ ጎን ያልተለያችሁ በገንዘባችሁ እና በሚያስፈልጋቸው ሁሉ ቤተሰቡን የደገፋችሁ እግዚያብሄር አብዝቶ ይባርካችሁ። በመጨረሻም በሱ ማለፍ ምክንያት ቤተሰቡ የደረሰበትን ያልተጠበቀ የገንዘብ ጫና ለማቅለል ድጋፋችሁ እዲቀጥልና ደግሞም በጸሎታችሁ እንድታስቧቸው በፍቅር እንጠይቃለን።

፣ እግዚያብሄር በማያልቀው በረከቱ አብዝቶ ይባርካችሁ።

“እግዚያብሄር ቅዱሳንን ስላገለገላችሁ እስከ አሁንም ስለምታገለግሏቸው ያደረጋችሁትን ስራ ለስሙም ያሳያችሁትን ፍቅር ይረሳ ዘንድ አመጸኛ አይደለምና። ወደ እብራውያን” 6፡10
