Donation protected
Hi…my name is Tammi Gustafson and I am starting a Go Fund Me page for The Hubbard Family! As they navigate their daughter’s journey of B-Cell Lymphoma, they are all taking turns staying with Bailey! So any amount of money will help ease their worries! So please consider donating and/or sharing!

Starting Caring Bridge as there has been a lot happening at the Hubbard’s with our amazing daughter & wanted to have a place to share info to try keep people updated. It’s been an unreal week.
Bailey has been fighting congestion/cough/cold for a few weeks. She had a bout of laryngitis which really never resolved & noticed getting short of breath easily. She had progressive SOB this past week & Friday started to have trouble breathing, so one of her roommates brought her to the Emergency Room here in the Cities. Chest CT revealed she had a large amount of fluid around her heart (pericardial effusion). She was transferred to Abbott NW about 3 am Saturday from the ED. Cardiology aspirated 1,150 ml Saturday afternoon & she has had another 750 ml out of the drain until it was pulled. The buildup has obviously been going on for some time as an anti-inflammatory response. Her CT scan also showed she has a softball size suspicious mass in the left upper lobe and then has a couple other smaller spots. The mass was biopsied Monday & results Wednesday confirmed suspicion that indeed this is cancer.
B Cell Lymphoma-
1. Aggressive but disorganized, typically responds well to treatment
2.Large mass size of softball, PET scan will confirmed there are some other locations
3. She will need to have Inpatient chemotherapy for 5days in a row, every 3 weeks x 6 cycles. There will not be radiation. They will not surgically remove the mass at this time.
4. Chest port access placed today for her to receive treatment, have labs drawn, IV fluids etc. possibly a bone marrow biopsy this morning.
5. Currently on the Medical Oncology floor & will not discharge til next week after having her first round.
6. Ty, I & Corinne have currently been taking turns staying overnight with her. Corinne heading back home today she stayed in the room with Bailey last night, We are taking turns so one of us is here.
7. It is all surreal So we are doing One day at a time…. I know it’s not bigger than God leading us through & we have people who love us praying, sending thoughts, and behind us all. Would appreciate prayer from those who believe that whatever this is, it is still not bigger than God who is beside us and will give us strength for each day.
We still have much to be grateful for and will continue to seek goodness & gratitude.
Hug someone you love,
Sandy
