The 4 of us girls, inseparable. Always in the fight together, lending hands and sharing love. Friday morning, our “Peppy” was brought to the ER by Claudia (sister) and Bailee (daughter). We are still in the hospital after getting some devastating news. Darron, Bailee, Claudia, and Chancey and “granna” will be by “Peppy’s” side continually as we await our next steps.

We do know at this time that we are dealing with Inflammatory breast cancer but we are awaiting more details as we all plan. Peppy was placed on a vent to allow her body to rest . We are asking for donations particularly for Bailee as she is self-employed and doesn’t have FMLA to get paid for time off to spend with her mom. We would like for her to be able to focus on this time ahead and not worry about her business that she has built in the time being as she needs to take some time away. We will update as we can.

Today we received the devastating news that Stephanie has triple negative inflammatory breast cancer. One of the rarest and most aggressive forms of cancer. We are at a loss for words. At this point it is very serious and we are trying to see the glimpses of light in the darkness. Our goals are to get her well enough to come off of the ventilator. In doing that we can possibly start chemotherapy in order for her to have time with us. Tomorrow radiology will be taking her down to do a PleurX to put in drains to relieve the fluid that is building up. This will help in getting off of the vent. Please be in prayer for our family in the days /weeks ahead as we navigate this broken road.
