Let’s come together to support our friend and coworker, Axl, and his family during an unimaginable time.

On the morning of Wednesday, January 28th, Axl and his sister were inside their home when a sudden fire broke out. They were able to escape with only minor injuries, but Axl suffered second‑degree burns on his hand and will be away from work while he recovers.

While we are all grateful they made it out safely, the fire resulted in the total loss of their home and all of their belongings. Every item, every memory, every piece of their daily life was taken in a matter of minutes.

Axl and his family are currently staying in an Airbnb through their renter’s insurance while they work to figure out long‑term housing. In the meantime, they are trying to salvage whatever they can from the remains of their home.

As a team, we’ve started helping with immediate needs — including a care package of cleaning supplies to support their clean‑up efforts — but we know they will need more support as they rebuild their lives from the ground up.
