Help Audrey Start Life-Saving Chemotherapy

In May of 2024, our dear friend Audrey found a lump in her breast. After a mammogram, she underwent a biopsy on June 14th and received the news none of us ever want to hear — breast cancer.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the fundraiser we held last year at Roosters Country — along with her GoFundMe — carried her through radiation, additional treatments, and nearly all of 2024 and 2025. She has stretched every single dollar to cover her living expenses while focusing on healing.

But now we need your help again.

Audrey’s Cancer Has Returned

Her cancer is back, and it is confirmed as HER2-positive breast cancer. It has spread, and her medical team has made it clear that chemotherapy is her last line of defense.

Audrey is scheduled for weekly chemo treatments starting this week and continuing through February. She has worked tremendously hard to save up enough to cover her bills for the next three months while she’s on treatment.

But there’s one hurdle she cannot overcome alone:

Her Chemo Co-Pays Total Nearly $5,000

To even begin treatment, she must pay $2,300 upfront, and her total out-of-pocket cost will be just under $5,000 — due to hitting deductibles for both 2025 and 2026, since her treatment runs into the new year.

Without this amount, she cannot start the chemotherapy she urgently needs.

Who Audrey Is

If you’re lucky enough to know Audrey, you know how incredible she is.

She’s spontaneous, hilarious, and the kind of kind-hearted soul who leaves a trail of light everywhere she goes. She’s the 50/50 queen, the raffle runner, the photo taker, the event supporter, and the one who shows up for every fundraiser — for people, for dogs, and for our entire community.

She has spent years pouring love, time, and energy into others.

Now it’s our turn to stand up for her.
