On Monday, we received the heartbreaking news that Aubrielle’s leukemia has returned. Our warrior is back in the ring.
Aubrielle, known as “Elle,” began her first leukemia battle four years ago at age six, and after three years of courageously fighting, she conquered blood cancer and rang the bell. It’s been a gut punch to learn she now faces this fight again, just a year and a half after that victory. Recently, she had been enjoying fifth grade, going to school with friends, dancing, and shining in her first travel softball season as a catcher. Now, she’ll need to call on that same strength and resilience as she kicks cancer’s butt once again.
This time, Elle will be in treatment for the next two years, and the Woods family has chosen to follow her trusted oncologist from Hurley to Devos Children’s Hospital. She has already begun her journey with a port placement and her initial rounds of treatment, with more intensive therapies to come, ensuring this cancer stays gone for good.
We would love your support to stand beside Elle and the Woods family as they face this challenging journey once more. As friends and family, we hope to ease some of their burden with support for medical and travel expenses. Any contribution will be deeply appreciated and a reminder to them that they’re surrounded by love and strength.
Please keep Elle and the Woods family in your thoughts and prayers. Let’s surround them with hope and encouragement every step of the way.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
