Stand with Aubree in Her Fight Against Cancer

My name is Chris Pownall and I have started this GoFundMe on behalf of a little girl named Aubree that is battling cancer in our SBC community.

Rebecca and Robbie Dyer received news on July 25th of 2023 that their world changed when a lung mass was discovered on their then 2 year old daughter, Aubree. After the mass was discovered, they were transported to Children's Hospital where many tests were performed. On the evening of July 26th, Aubree went in for a chest tube placement and a lung biopsy. After going through blood transfusions and a litany of tests, Robbie and Rebecca received the unfortunate news that Aubree had been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a form of cancer that commonly affects children at age 5 or younger. After nearly a year of fighting courageously, the doctors have advised that Aubree come home from the hospital so she can be surrounded by loved ones.

The Dyer family is part of our SBC community, as Aubree’s brother Robert AKA Buckshot plays on our rising 10U team. Despite everything he and his family have gone through, Buckshot is in excellent spirits and is the very epitome of what a big brother should be. As much as he loves playing baseball and being a Tiger, his love for his little sister cannot be matched.

As you can imagine, the Dyer family's bills have mounted. From all the medical bills, transportation costs, and hotel accommodations, we would love it if our SBC community could help out in any way possible. We have a goal of $10,000 to help with any current and future bills the family may incur. We appreciate any and all support you can provide.
