Stand with Ashley Against Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Autumn and a few months ago I received some of the worst news imaginable. Someone I love was diagnosed with cancer. This was my big sister, Ashley. Ashley is a lot of things: she is a daughter, an aunt, a friend, a wife, and a mom, but most importantly, she is a sister. She is a sister that has always stood alongside me and supported me in my educational journey and beyond. She has always had my back for as long as I can remember. So, now it's time for me to have hers.
Ashley was diagnosed with a rare type of breast cancer in January 2025. She is diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, which only accounts for 10-15% of breast cancer cases. TNBC is more aggressive and spreads more rapidly than other breast cancers; because of this, treatment is also extremely extensive. Ashley is currently fighting her way through her first round of chemotherapy and has already experienced several complications (one of which will have lifelong effects) and had to change her chemo regime various times. This is only the beginning. Because of the extensive and aggressive treatment, she is suffering severe side effects preventing her from leaving her house (including being able to work).
This diagnosis and treatment is costly and has impeded her ability to work for herself. Donations are greatly appreciated and are directed towards left over medical bills from several hospital stays due to chemo complications, as well as rent and groceries for the family and kids due to the missing income. Thank you so much.
