My name is Asha Mahabir. After 24 years of marriage with my husband, I found text messages between him and another woman who worked with him. The last two years, the mental and emotional abuse I suffered resulted in me trying to unalive myself. I went through a major depression.

On June 6th, 2025, he cleaned out our bank account, canceled our credit cards, and left me with nothing. He filed for a divorce, and I'm unable to retain an attorney on my own.
