Stand with Arianna Roze in Her Health Battle

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We aren’t the type to reach out for this kind of support, but our family is truly experiencing something we never predicted could happen. Our beautiful daughter, Arianna, started to not feel well over this last weekend. She had blood blisters in her mouth, fatigue, extreme random bruising on her body, and severe headaches. We took her into Kadlec, our local hospital, where they drew blood and discovered that all of Arianna’s blood cells were dangerously low which resulted in her having to be life-flighted to Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. After being here for a few days, she was recently been diagnosed with a possible case of Aplastic Anemia, a serious condition where the bone marrow fails to produce enough blood cells. This has necessitated the placement of a PICC line and frequent treatments.

Due to the severity of her condition, we need to stay close to Sacred Heart Children's Hospital in Spokane, quite a distance from our home. This means we require assistance with lodging and basic necessities while we are here.

Unfortunately, this unexpected situation has also impacted our ability to work. I just graduated with my Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene and have taken all board exams to get my license. I have applied for licensure but am currently awaiting the results of my National Board, the verification of scores being sent to the state, and the state's processing of my application. This is expected to take about 4-6 weeks.

I do have my Registered Dental Assisting license and was due to begin working at a wonderful dental practice in the interim, but Arianna’s health decline has impacted my ability to start this job, especially being far from work.

We are humbly asking for your support to help cover the costs of our stay in Spokane, including accommodation, food, transportation, and other essentials. Any amount you can contribute will make a significant difference and allow us to focus on Arianna’s treatment and recovery without the added stress of financial burdens. We also have two other little girls at home who need our support as well. As well as a home and other finances we are still responsible for.

There is also the possibility that Arianna may require a bone marrow transplant, which would necessitate relocating her care to Seattle Children’s Hospital. We are awaiting further test results to better understand the treatment her condition will require, and we are unsure what the financial implications will be for us yet.

We truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, prayers, and support during this challenging time. We will keep you updated on Arianna's progress and are grateful for any help you can provide.

With gratitude,

The Watson’s.
