Stand with April Mueller & Family

On December 21, 2021, the Mueller family heard the dreaded words, C.A.N.C.E.R. after what was thought to be a routine surgical procedure. April Mueller, wife, mother, and the always-smiling-curbside-Boone-Elementary-school-welcomer, sat in a consult room, all alone (due to covid), to hear her startling and unexpected diagnosis. Doctors found cancer in her appendix and colon.

This news is traumatic. And, especially near what should be the happiest of times, at Christmas.

What's next? Doctors plan to remove the right side of her colon, along with some lymph nodes, for further testing. After that, the family will learn of the treatment plan.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to raise money for this dear family. We hope to ease the burden of medical bills, time off work, meals out, transportation, etc., so that they can focus on what they need to.

We'd also ask for your continual prayers over April's body until she is declared 'healed.' Together, let's pray for full and complete recovery and that April does not experience pain. Let's pray that the colon and lymph nodes do not have any cancer after testing them, and peace for this family.
