Stand with Anton: Legal Defense Fund

Hi, I'm Donna J. W. Munro, a writer and teacher. My friend Anton, also a writer and teacher, is in dire straits.

He's not allowed to give details because this involves litigation.

Anton got a potential job threatening charge he needs to fight in court (for something that makes little sense).

This is awful for so many reasons, but consider this... Anton is one of the greatest supporters and friends many of us writers have. He's also one of the few true advocates the young incarcerated men he teaches has. He gives and gives, loves everyone, is an amazing writer in his own right.

We need to help him get through these legal troubles. He has to fight against the charges or get them reduced so he can keep his job teaching.

Here's the possible costs:

$1500 deposit on bond

$2500 maximum fine

$90 minimum court fee

For now, I'm trying to raise $4500.
