Stand with Aniah's Family in Their Grief
Donation protected
“Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that
will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.” – 1 Corinthians 9:25
First, we would like to begin by thanking everyone in the community who has been
praying, loving, and supporting our track club. They have been comforting during this difficult
time and have been a reminder of the impact Aniah had on others.
On June 11th during our team’s practice the unthinkable happened. 9 year Aniah collapsed. She was rushed to County Hospital and later airlifted to UC Davis. Aniah had an undetected brain aneurysm that ruptured.
We are missing our beloved track star Aniah Spikes, who had joined God Speed Track club
this year and found herself falling in love with the sport. She worked hard to achieve greatness
on and off the track. Aniah became an exceptional runner, teammate, and athlete. Her
love, smile, laughter, and personality has touched the lives of everyone. We are truly
blessed to have Aniah be a part of our track family.
During this time we would like to raise a donation for the family to help with any expenses needed to help them get through these difficult times. Anything is appreciated, for all donations gathered we will be giving to the Lewis-Spikes family on behalf of God Speed Track Club and the community.
Please continue to pray for Aniah's family. God bless you all!
Thank you,
