Help My Mom Fight Stage 4 Cancer - We Can’t Do This Alone
My name is Andrii, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart, asking for help for my mother.
Three years ago, my mom brought me and my brother from Ukraine to the United States to save us from the war. She left everything behind - her home, her family, and everyone she loved - just to keep us safe. We arrived with nothing but hope and the belief that we could build a new life.
My mom worked hard every single day to support us, even when it was incredibly difficult. We have no relatives here in the U.S., no close friends who can help - only each other. My mom has always been the strongest and most selfless person I know.
But everything changed when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.
Her condition is now extremely serious. She is in constant pain, very weak, and can barely move without assistance. She needs 24/7 care, and my brother and I stay with her day and night, helping her with everything - from daily needs to medical appointments.
We want to be strong for her the way she has always been strong for us, but we are struggling. My mom is unable to work, and we cannot work full-time because she depends on us for continuous care. Despite doing our best, we simply cannot manage this alone.
We are asking for help so we can continue taking care of our mom during this heartbreaking time - to cover basic living expenses and allow us to stay by her side while she undergoes treatment. Any donation, even the smallest, means more to us than we can express.
My mom risked everything to save our lives.
Now we are trying to save hers.
Thank you to everyone who donates, shares, or keeps us in their thoughts. Your support gives us hope during the most difficult time of our lives.
With gratitude,
Andrii
