Hello, my name is Ana, and I am part of the staff of a hospital in NWI. I have been working there as a nurse assistant for over nine years. I have worked from September 2017 to the present day and worked through the pandemic in the COVID unit. It has always been my dream to become a nurse, but life with my two girls and now my own illnesses has caused me to put my dream and needs aside for what my family needs! I had always put others before me, but in this case I need just a landing hand to pull me up!

On February 2nd, 2026, I injured my back badly to the point where I can't do much, and my limitations, according to my doctor, are very strict and don't allow me to go back to work.the time to be off from work is uncertain and depends totally on the doctor. Needless to say, a nurse assistant's pay doesn't make a decent living, but extra hours make it okay. My own illnesses pushed me to dig deeper into my savings, exhausting all that was there, and have thrown me to basically live paycheck to paycheck! As embarrassed and ashamed as I am now, I also need just a little help to at least make enough to cover the days I will be off from work. Please consider donating if you're able.
