Stand with Amy Britton in Her Cancer Fight

My name is Candy Cresswell. I am fundraising for my daughter Amy Britton for medical reasons. Two years ago, I started a GoFundMe for my grandson who was battling cancer (Amy’s son). This time, it is for Amy. In March, she had her first mammogram done and found spots in both breasts. Further testing and biopsies found that she has Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. CANCER. She had already underwent a partial mastectomy and lymph nodes removed on one breast and a lumpectomy on the other. She had a central line put in. She started chemotherapy on June 19. She will have to do 4 months of chemotherapy then she will do some rounds of radiation, and after that due to the ER+ and PR+ receptors she will have to have 10 years of hormone therapy immunotherapy. She has a long road ahead of her.

Amy was just getting things back together from Camdyn being sick for so long. She was back working and starting to feel normal again and now this happens. She has not been able to work since her first surgery. Amy has worked so hard to get back to where she is mentally and financially. She is worried because she is a single mom and has 2 children at home that depend on her. She just wants things to continue to be the way they are. And with no income, the bills pile up plus the travel expenses and just plain cancer expenses. Throughout everything, Amy tries to keep a positive attitude and outlook on things.
