Amanda Kay Moore is a 44-year-old mother of three and grandmother who has always been the one to care for others. She worked hard at Riverside Rehabilitation helping people every day — until her life changed in May 2025 when she was diagnosed with melanoma.

Since then, Amanda has faced surgery, immunotherapy, and devastating complications that nearly took her life. Despite everything, the cancer continued to spread. She has now been diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic melanoma with a BRAF mutation (a genetic change that causes the melanoma to spread more aggressively and makes her fight even more challenging) and is preparing to start another round of aggressive chemotherapy.

Because of her illness and treatments, Amanda can no longer work. Over the past year, both of her vehicles have broken down, adding even more stress during an already overwhelming time. She is doing everything she can to stay strong for her children and grandchild, but the financial burden has become more than anyone should have to carry alone.

Amanda is not someone who asks for help — she is someone who has always given it. Now, she needs her community to stand beside her.

We are raising funds to help with basic living expenses, transportation, medical costs, and daily needs so Amanda can focus on fighting for her life and spending precious time with her family.
