Hi. My name is Allisha. I am not one to typically look for help unless I must. With that said I am here to do that exactly. In August of 2024 I was told by my 16 year old daughter she was S assaulted. We immediately called the cops. He was arrested three days later. This has lead to where we are now. We go to court on a near monthly basis. We are at the point now where we are preparing for a trial. We have used all available pto with work to cover our days we miss for court or treatment. As we get ready for trial this has become a huge issue. The trail will be starting the next few weeks. We will miss a lot of work. Between court dates. DA appointments and therapy treatments we are at a crossroad. We have to go through the trial. We have to miss work. We have no more PTO. Can't pull from 401Ks. We are already struggling to keep food on the table. Our biggest concern right now is coming up with rent for June. We are going to miss work for the trail and that puts us at risk for not having rent food and utilities. I have to ask for help. Due to the active case I can't give case identifying information but willing to share what is allowed. I can show when the next court date is. Which is Thursday may 8th. In the Auburn courthouse. If you guys can help at all it is beyond appreciated. We are working with Stand up placer for therapy. Thankfully that is covered under our victims rights and Cal VCB grant. But it doesn't cover our finances. I know it is a lot to ask for. The smallest things help even just a share.
