Hi, my name is Renee. My family and I moved to North Platte a year ago for the railroad, and everything was falling into place—we had a great home, we were settled, and life was good.
Then, in November of last year, everything changed. My husband, Allen, started feeling unwell at work. He was taken to the ER in Scottsbluff, and after a series of tests, doctors suspected cancer. Since then, we've been in and out of hospitals searching for answers, but we still don’t have a clear diagnosis.
Now, we’re in Omaha at the Buffett Cancer Center, where Allen is receiving excellent care. While we are grateful for the medical support, the financial strain has been overwhelming. Our savings are running out, and we are struggling to keep up with our home and car payments.
I am doing everything I can—being there for my husband, taking care of our children, and working—but I need help. If you’re able to support us in any way, whether through donations, prayers, or sharing our story, we would be incredibly grateful.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any kindness you can offer during this challenging time.
