My name is Breezy, and my childhood best friend, Alicia, is the one I am seeking help for.

She is a full-time working mom of 7 and a financial abuse victim. Her evil “pastor” ex-husband cheated on her while pregnant with their third child, preached to his church that “God told him to do it,” then took out millions of dollars in life insurance policies on her after a vision “God” sent him of her dying in childbirth. He has spent the last decade bringing her further into financial ruin, to the point where her wages are now being garnished for his debts.

To help her and her family avoid being evicted, she urgently needs funds to file for bankruptcy to stop the garnishments. There is SO much more in the description below, so read on. It is insane.

She needs to raise $1338 to pay a lawyer in order to file bankruptcy and stop her paychecks from being garnished. Her mom already helped her with money for the retainer fee, but unfortunately she is not able to help any more beyond that and the total fee must be paid before the bankruptcy may be filed, which needs to be done asap. She just recently returned to work from maternity leave, and with the amount of money they are taking from her paychecks, she won’t be able to afford rent along with all of her other bills and expenses, such as food for her family.

This all started back in 2016 when Alicia was married to her ex-husband, who is a pastor, and pregnant with their 3rd child. He told her and everyone in the church that he had a vision that she was going to die and his secretary was supposed to be his new wife. He then proceeded to move in with his mistress and took Alicia’s 2 older kids to go live with him and his mistress, then 2 weeks after the baby was born, he took him as well, while she was breastfeeding him, leaving Alicia home alone to supposedly get prepared to die. Her ex thought she would die during childbirth but that obviously didn’t happen. He got 2 different life insurance policies on her, totaling $4 million, and took out credit cards and other loans thinking he would just pay them off with the life insurance money. She finally got the strength to leave, took her kids back with the help of the police, and filed for divorce. You may ask why she allowed all of this to happen in the first place, why she let him take her kids. You have to understand how controlling and manipulative this man is. She married him at only 17 yrs old and not long after he had her so brainwashed and isolated from her friends and family that even I myself, her best friend, did not even see her for the 10 yrs she was married to that evil man. And then in the divorce, he got her to sign over everything to him through his lies and deception, so she had to start her life over from scratch, with nothing. She has come a long way in the few years since then, but now she needs our help to get out of this predicament he has put her in.

Now here we are, 7 years after they got legally divorced, and she is being held responsible for a $31k debt that she didn’t accrue. She didn’t even know about it until now. Her ex can afford to take care of it, but being the horrible evil human being he is, he refuses to. And he can’t be garnished because he doesn’t have a regular job; he owns his own business. Alicia has a good job with the state of Washington, but it isn’t enough to cover this. She normally lives paycheck to paycheck. Her current husband stays home to take care of the kids because daycare is too expensive. The thought of them possibly losing their home and stability because of a debt she didn’t even create is devastating.

Filing bankruptcy is the quickest and the only way to stop the garnishment and give Alicia and her family a fair chance to move forward in life, without dealing with the effects of what her evil ex did to her years down the road. As soon as the $1338 is paid to the lawyer, the bankruptcy can be filed and she can put this nightmare behind her. Every dollar raised will go directly to the lawyer fees and if there is anything left over it can go towards the rent and any other expenses they may have and help them get a little ahead.
