Stand with Aleyda: Legal and Medical Aid Needed
Donation protected
Update: Aleyda has been sent to an ICE detention center now. We are waiting to hear from her, so we can proceed.
Thank you to everyone who has shown support for Aleyda and her family, it means so much to us.
I am Aleyda’s daughter, and I am asking for help during one of the hardest times of my life. On Monday morning, my mom was taken by individuals who appeared to be immigration agents but had no identification. In the process, she fainted from fear and stress. Despite my dad begging them to stop because she is sick, they drove away with her unconscious.
She was later taken to Stanford Hospital, where my family was briefly allowed to see her before being told she was “under custody” and denied any further visits. Since then, we have not received much information since they refuse to give information out. My mom has a serious condition, thrombocytopenia, which makes stressful situations very dangerous for her.
Right now, she is in critical condition, and we are terrified. She needs her family by her side for support, and we need legal help to fight for her rights and her safety.
I am reaching out as her daughter, asking for any help you can give whether through donations or by sharing this page. Every contribution means so much. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with us in this painful moment.
