Stand with Alberto Osuna

Alberto Osuna is not just an exceptional baseball player—he is a dedicated teammate, a person of strong integrity, a humble leader, and someone who consistently uplifts those around him.

After transferring to the University of Tennessee from the University of Tampa this spring, the NCAA has denied Alberto’s requests to play for Tennessee in the 2025 season. In response, he has filed multiple motions in federal court, citing unfair treatment compared to other athletes in similar situations, among other concerns. The latest motion, filed on April 28, 2025, argues that recent rulings in favor of other athletes who had the same circumstances, such as Jett Elad and Diego Pavia, support Osuna's case and highlight inconsistencies in NCAA decisions. Because of this, despite giving everything to the game and following all rules in good faith, his collegiate career is in jeopardy. To have any chance at a happy ending and to become eligible in his final semester this spring, Alberto must continue his legal battle with the NCAA, and he needs your help!

Reluctant to pursue this course of action unless absolutely necessary, Alberto and his family want to make it clear that they are not seeking to profit from this fundraiser. The sole purpose of this campaign is to cover the legal expenses required to continue his case against the NCAA. Alberto has pledged that any funds raised beyond what is needed for legal fees will be donated to youth baseball programs and nonprofit organizations in the Knoxville area. Not a single extra penny will be kept by him or his family beyond what is essential to resolve his legal battle.

This fundraiser has been approved by the University of Tennessee Athletics Compliance Office.
